St. George Inn Frequently Asked Questions

Our hotel is located in the heart of St. Augustine's Downtown district, across from the Castillo de San Marcos, and on the north end of the renown pedestrian-only, St. George Street.

We have our guests pull up to our loading zone where the staff assists guests with luggage. We then provide a parking pass and direct guests to park in the Municipal City Garage. The garage is half a block from the Inn. We charge a reduced rate of $17.00 per day and provide in and out privileges with a parking pass.

St. George Street is a pedestrian-only street, so we ask that you input: 21 Orange Street, St. Augustine, Florida 32084, into your navigation system when driving to the property to check in. This address will bring you to the office building, a pink building with green shutters. To the left there will be a cut off in the street with a loading zone where you may park your vehicle and unload your bags to get checked in.

Check-In time is 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you would like to arrive earlier than 3:00 p.m., our team can help you unload your luggage, get your vehicle parked, and check in, permitting the room is ready. We have a greater chance of having your room ready for an early arrival if you let us know prior to your arrival date. If you arrive early and the room is not ready, however, we can hold your luggage in the office and assist you with parking.

If you anticipate arriving after 8:00 p.m., we offer a late check-in drop box option, wherein we provide your keys, parking pass, and materials for your stay in a packet for you. Simply call ahead and let a staff member know you will be checking in late, and they will assist you with the arrangements.

All of our rooms and amenities are dog-friendly. We accept dogs 40lbs and under for a one-time $50.00 cleaning fee per dog. We permit a maximum of 2 dogs per room.

We do have a variety of handicap accessible rooms available to fit your needs. We have a few rooms that are specifically ADA compliant and also rooms with elevator access. Please let our team members know about your accessibility needs when making a reservation, or prior to your arrival, as not all of our rooms are equipped.

We do not have a pool; however, the beach is only a short ride away.

No, we do not charge for additional guests.

We provide high-quality air mattresses upon request.

In order to book a room at the St. George Inn, you must be at least 21 years old.

Yes, children may stay at the St. George Inn as long as they are accompanied by an adult (21+).

Motorcycles are able to enter the garage; however, you must have a pass for each motorcycle. Please call prior to your arrival to speak with a team member if you plan to bring a trailer to see if we can accommodate you.

The St. George Inn is approximately 5 miles from public beaches including St. Augustine Beach and Vilano Beach.

We do offer some packages over the weekend; however, they are at a higher rate due to higher weekend room prices.

Most shops are open by 10:00 a.m., and most attractions are open at 9:00 a.m.

Typically, restaurants are open until 10:00 p.m. during the week and 11:00 p.m. on the weekends.

We do not have adjoining rooms; however, we do have connected balconies between rooms.

We do not have a venue space for weddings; however, we do have a secluded meeting room space that can accommodate groups of 10-15. This space is also adjacent to a private outdoor patio event area. The combined 600-sq-ft patio space can accommodate parties of up to 50 people. A perfect location to host business meetings, graduation celebrations, family reunions, holiday parties, bridal showers, private tastings, and more. Please call the property to speak with our events manager if you are interested in renting the meeting space for a private event.

All 35 of our guest rooms are non-smoking. We permit smoking on the balconies or in the courtyard.

Yes, we do offer complimentary Wi-Fi in all of our guest rooms. The network information is provided in the guest binders in each room.

The St. George Inn was built in 2001, but the property itself was purchased by the Kass family in January 2004. There have been several additions built on the property over the years.

The St. George Inn is celebrating 20 years of providing excellent service in this unique, family-owned business. The Kass family bought the Inn in 2004.

We offer a complimentary continental, a la carte breakfast in our wine bar Bin 39 from 8:00 am to 10:30 am.

No, we do not have a restaurant on the property. We do have a fantastic wine bar, Bin 39, that offers a selection of over 90 wines by the glass as well as charcuterie boards and light bites.

We opened the wine bar, Bin 39, several years ago originally as part of the hotel lobby. Since then, Bin 39 has become one of the biggest attractions of our business and a staple experience when visiting St. Augustine. Guests receive discounts on all consumable products and merchandise in the wine bar, and we provide live music in the courtyard every weekend.

We have a total of 35 beautiful rooms, including suites, located across six buildings along the first block of St. George Street.

We are located in the heart of downtown St. Augustine, exactly on the renowned pedestrian-only St. George Street. We are within walking distance of over 30 restaurants and bars. We are directly across the street from the Castillo de San Marcos and are very close to other attractions like the City Gate, the Pirate Museum, the Cathedral Basilica, and more.
