The ancient city is home to a variety of events including concerts, art exhibits, festivals, seasonal holiday celebrations, live theater, and many other fun activities. Many of which happen annually! St. Augustine welcomes thousands of visitors every year to its events, from the award-winning Nights of Lights holiday season to fun spring festivals and markets. It is also a great hub for lovers of food, wine, and beer as we have many events celebrating all three. THE PLAYERS 2025 in Ponte Vedra Florida a 30-minute ride from us, combines the best field in golf with the world-class venue, THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. The tournament takes place from Tuesday through Sunday, March 11 to 16, 2025. Visitors are welcome to attend each day of the championship, including the practice rounds.
THE PLAYERS is one of the most anticipated tournaments on the PGA Tour and boasts the biggest purse and the strongest field.
Proceeds from THE PLAYERS benefit Northeast Florida charities and have totaled nearly $110 million since the event moved to Ponte Vedra Beach in 1977.
Before the blistering summer hits, St. Augustine kicks off the end of spring with the beloved St. Augustine Food & Wine Festival in May. The festival is a culinary celebration to showcase food, beverage and culture that highlights celebrity guest chefs, celebrity winemakers/ proprietors, local chefs, artisans and local craft spirits/beers. The festival offers a wide variety of events for all taste buds, from wine dinners and tasting events, to master classes and more. World Golf Village, San Sebastian Winery and the Hyatt Place, St. Augustine/Vilano Beach are the host location sites for the 2025 festival. World Golf Village is located 20 minutes north of historic downtown St. Augustine and the beaches.
For our millennial visitors, As If! The ‘90s Fest is a fun, nostalgia-inducing event that will give you a blast from the past. Presented by Ancient City Entertainment, St. Augustine's As If! '90s Fest celebrates the '90s trends, fashions, and moments on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Francis Field. The festival supports Ace Alliance, a non-profit organization passionate about entertainment, tourism, and hospitality. All the trappings of the '90s will be part of this celebration of the decade, including a fly photo booth and water slide. Food trucks, music, and fun will be found at this family-friendly event.
St. George Inn is also the proud owner of Bin 39 Wine Bar, one of the best places to grab a glass of wine in St. Augustine. We have live music every weekend as well as weekdays during busy seasons. Stop by and listen to local musicians while enjoying the best wine list in North Florida. Bin 39 also hosts several themed events throughout the year like Bin Book Club, Galentine's Day, and several Specialty Wine Tasting events with winemakers and sommeliers.
